RENÉE FABIAN - BIO
Renée Fabian, originally from Pennsylvania, gave more than 150 performances as a saxophonist, taught private lessons and served as the music supervisor for an after-school music program in Washington, D.C., before changing careers to journalism. Currently working as a digital content producer for The Recording Academy in Santa Monica, Calif., she also assists the director of Making Music & More LLC with creative and administrative projects, and has written for publications such as VICE, Healthline, The Fix, The Week, The Daily Dot, Ravishly, BlogHer, She Knows, The Establishment, and The Culture Trip, among others. Renée holds a B.M. in Saxophone Performance from West Chester University and an M.A. in Arts Journalism from the University of Southern California. She currently resides with her two cats in the sunny metropolis of Los Angeles.
